James Markos
Bodyworks & Massage
James found his passion for helping people live pain-free during his four years as a personal fitness trainer.
his led him to take several courses in therapeutic exercise and ultimately to a career in massage therapy, which he has been studying at Langara college since September 2020.
James believes that a multifaceted approach is needed to remedy his clients’ pain in the long term.
He combines his experience in therapeutic exercise and massage to assess and educate his clients on why they are experiencing pain or tension, and on how to move their bodies from a place of pain to a place of ease and fluidity.
James uses deep tissue, fascial, joint mobilization, and neuromuscular techniques to help bring changes in the body which reduce pain, increase relaxation, and allow for the body to function at its best.

“Absolutely First Rate. James’ knowledge of musculature came shining through again. It’s probably not only his Langara RMT course studies but his accumulated knowledge from being in obviously Amazing shape and what I’m sure was an incredible Personal Trainer. He has certainly learned his lessons well and has the perfect mix of talent, strength, interest and personality to become a most sought after, successful RMT. He has helped to whip me into better shape and encourages me to take better care of my body. I wish I’d met him pre Covid I sure I would have come thru the period slimmer and healthier in every way. It’s great to be treated by someone who I believe has found his niche and is so positive and upbeat about it. Bravo!! ”
